Grateful Dead Lightning Bolt/SYF in Dirty White
MadeWorn rock 'n roll vintage T's are inspired by the back stage experience. If the price gives you pause, each garment is cut, sewn, distressed, and finished entirely by hand in Los Angeles. Due to this time consuming process, every piece is unique and completely one of a kind. This collection encompasses various rare and iconic prints alike and are engineered to reflect that of originals produced decades prior. Inventory is limited by design...exclusive and never mass produced.
The most recognizable Grateful Dead graphic is the "Stealie", short for "Steal Your Face". It was created by the "King of LSD" Owsley Stanley who was also the architect of the Dead's infamous "Wall of Sound" PA system. It was the cover art for the live album of the same name which was quickly produced under pressure of a contractural obligation and wasn't memorable. One of the members of the Dead wanted to name the album "Skull F-ck" because of the circumstances, but the record company wouldn't go for it...what a surprise.
